Sydney, Australia is an incredibly beautiful city in both its cultural atmosphere, and all of the elements that contribute to it, and its natural environmental surroundings. Some people spend their entire vacations there exploring the beauty and natural scenery, while others spend the bulk of their time experiencing some of the great cultural elements. And of course there are those incredibly wise and balanced individuals who try and incorporate all of the aspects of this great city into their trip. Boston’s seaport area called Fort Point has been under renovation over the past few years. They are bringing the life back to this historical sea side are of the city. The Boston Children’s Museum is in the area as well as many other businesses and restaurants. They are putting on some great shows with live entertainment for the whole family.

While you are exploring the boardwalk, step inside the Barking Crab for some great seafood and cold brew. See for yourself a true architectural masterpiece with the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse. Your boston boutique hotels may not give you the relaxing experience of watching the boats cruise the harbor like you will find on the patio of the Daily Catch.

If you make it far enough on your walk you could end up at the Cirque Du Soleil tents which are next to the Institute of Contemporary Art. One of the newest additions to the restaurants along the harbor is Sam’s of Louis. Even if your not hungry you will enjoy a cocktail on the patio. For a more presidential dining experience head over to Anthony’s Pier 4 which has been a premier seafood restaurant for almost 50 years. It has hosted dinners for many US Presidents, famous artists, writers and athletes as well as many religious leaders. Who knows who you might have seated next to you.

The Cathedral Santuario de Guadalupe in Dallas is worth a visit. This historic landmark, whose architect remained unknown for many years, until 1989 when a discovery of the original drawings by Nicholas J. Clayton were made in a Galveston library, is considered a sentinel to the Catholic Church and represents the essence of a era gone by. This Gothic Revival style, which was built with locally produced brick in 1898 to 1902, is a survivor of downtown Dallas’s monumental changes in landscape. Renovations over the decades retained managed to keep its dignity and integrity of the original structure and today is still serving the needs of its Dallas parishioners, the mission of the Roman Catholic diocese and the community at large.

Located at 2215 Ross Avenue, the Cathedral stands with its neighbors at the center of the Dallas Arts District next to such places as the Morton H. Myerson Symphony Center , the Dallas Museum of Art and many 5 star Dallas hotels . Today, the Cathedral preserves a sense of how the heart of the city’s history has evolved, functioning as an architectural analogue of grace nestled amid gleaming glass and polished stone facings of its surrounding buildings.

A side note: the building was not completed in 1902; due to lack of funds the 219 foot bell tower was never constructed. As the church entered the new millennium, a decision was made to complete the building and finally build the bell tower, which was completed in 2005.

San Diego might be most famous for the incredible beaches that are located along its western edge and this might also be one of the primary reasons so many people from across the country as well as the rest of the world visit it every summer, but it is definitely not the only thing that San Diego has to offer. The city is full of incredible cultural attractions, entertainment options, great shopping opportunities and fabulous restaurants it can actually be difficult to decide how to best spend your non beach time.

There are those who believe that a leader can be taught to become a leader and is not born that way. When it comes to business this is absolutely true. There is an interaction between leaders and followers in an office that can be seen and observed. Many of these things can be picked up on. Of course, anyone can also speed up this process by taking leadership development seminars . These can teach a person to look at all of the aspects of leaders and followers in the workplace.

Depending on the class you take there may even be some discussion on the fact that the leaders are not always the managers, although they are usually manager material. Leaders in the workplace are the ones who take control of a situation when it gets out of hand, help out co-workers when they are having a bad day. This is different from the ever changing bellwethers in a group, which may not stay the same day to day. Bellwethers are temporary leaders who are being followed sub-consciously by the group. Knowing who is the bellwether at the moment, verses who the leaders are, can be seen when you put a group through a team building seminar.

Some people could say that there are four aspects to any leader/ follower dynamic. There is the leader, who should know themselves, their limits and hopefully is aware that they are leading the group in some way. There are the followers, who don’t need to know that they aren’t leaders in their own right. Each of these people will be different, and will need different kinds and amounts of attention. The last two aspects of the dynamic are features of the relationship between these two bodies. The first one is communication . Most of this is non-verbal. A good leader is comfortable enough to allow for two way communication. The last thing is the situation. This will change day to day, moment by moment. Knowing what the situation is will usually be the largest factor on both the parts of the leader and the followers.
